“A Classical and Christ-centered Education”

Good afternoon, Logos Family

We had a very successful the Fall Festival. It was very well attended and a lot of fun. The 8th grade students raised funds by strapping on garbage bags and allowing pies to be thrown in their faces. It was great fun until they auctioned off the opportunity to throw a pie in the Headmaster’s face. I learned quickly it is best to close your eyes before the pie is delivered 😊 We had a great time!

At Chapel on Monday morning , Evan Mitchell gave the opening prayer and Jarron Benham led the Pledge of Allegiance. Mrs. Fisher’s 5th/6th Graders gave a very impressive presentation of “Bones of the Body” featuring Mr. Bones. They named all of the major bones of the body from memory.

We then presented the “A” and “AB” Honor Roll certificates. We have excellent students and it was very rewarding to honor their achievements.

The Patriot Pen essays were completed by the 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes and Mrs. Duarte made the delivery to the VFW.

Students and staff have been working very hard to be ready for Grandparents’ Day next Thursday, November 7th. Please refer to the orange flyer that was sent out a week or so ago for times of drop off and pick up etc. We are looking forward to seeing you all as the logos students express their love and appreciation for the Grandparents that are so influential in their lives. Parents are also very important 😊 and very welcome!

Hope you have a blessed weekend.
