Scope: This policy applies to all Logos teachers in their capacity as teachers at Logos. Definitions: Secondary doctrine: Doctrinal issues which are not addressed in the Logos Christian Academy Statement of Faith

Guidelines:

1. Classroom discussion of secondary doctrine shall be on an informative, nonpartisan level.

2. Teachers are instructed to be careful not to speak to the students in a manner that may have the result of undermining parental teaching in matters of secondary doctrine.

3. Beginning with the pre-logic phase of education (approximately grade 5) and continuing through logic and rhetoric, presentation of all sides of an issue is encouraged.

4. The teacher should encourage the students to follow up any questions they have with their parents and pastor.
