Mrs. Pam Duarte – Headmaster
Mrs. Duarte has been in the field of education for over 25 years in a variety of roles (school secretary, specialized aide, classroom teacher, trainer of new teachers, assistant principal, and principal). In addition, she and her husband, Paul, have served in a variety of ministry roles over the past 40 years. They moved to Fallon in February 2017, leaving the South Bay area of Northern California where they had lived for 30 years. They love their new community and are excited to see what God has in store! They have 2 sons, 2 lovely daughter-in-laws, and an adorable grandson. She is hopeful that God has amazing things in store for Logos Christian Academy and looks forward to working with staff and families to provide the very best in a Classical Christian Education.

Mrs. Kim Jung, Kindergarten
Mrs. Jung was born and raised in Montana. She went to college in Idaho, and holds a B.S. in Secondary Education (Business Ed Speciality) from Northwest Nazarene College. She has lived in Fallon for 36 years. Mrs. Jung met and Married Dale Jung and they have five children:
Adrienne (Married to Hector with 2 grandbabies: Maverik and Mercedes), Kendra, Caleb, Haley, and Shayna
She has taught at Logos since our doors opened 19 years ago. “I love teaching from a Christian worldview”.

Mrs. Michal Horn, 1st Grade
Mrs. Horn originates from Phoenix, Arizona, but has lived in the Reno/Fallon area for the past 8 years with her husband, A.J. and 2 active sons. They love to go on family adventures. In particular, her older son and she love to go geocaching. She attended San Diego Christian College and has a B.A. in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in youth ministry. She has taught in various church settings over the years and is thrilled to be teaching at Logos. “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Mrs. Angela Howard, 2nd/3rd Grade
Mrs. Howard was born in Lemoore, California, and grew-up partly in Lemoore, and partly in Fallon, Nevada with her three brothers. If she could live anywhere in the world, she would live in Washington because of the great combination of mountain and ocean there. Angie loves teaching at LCA, “because the Lord led me to!” In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She is married to Joe, and they have three marvelous children: Shylah, Hunter and Lillian.

Mrs. Tiffany Mora 4th/5th Grade
Mrs. Mora was born and raised in Aztec, New Mexico, where she lived for 21 years before joining the US Navy. She has been married to her husband, Rhett, for 12 years and they have a 7 year old son, Asher. She loves to spend time with her family and watch Asher master new challenges. When she has some alone time, reading and crocheting are what keep her content. She is currently finishing up her B.A. in Writing and English, with a focus in Fictional Writing. She has worked in substitute positions for Churchill County Schools for the past 2 years and has been active in church since she became a believer many years ago at VBS. She has taught many different age groups and really does enjoy working with children and helping them reach their personal best.

Ms. Kendra Jung and Mrs. Adrienne Martinez, 6-8th Grade
Ms. Kendra Jung is a Fallon native and has been teaching 7th/8th grade math and logic at Logos for several years. This year her sister, Adrienne Martinez, will be joining her as they co-teach the middle school grades. She will be focusing on math, logic, and science. Kendra is also the daughter of our Kindergarten teacher, Kim Jung, and has 4 siblings. In her latter years of high school and into her early twenties, she dealt with medical issues, but was aware of God being with her through it all. She loves the Lord and her family and particularly enjoys reading, playing soccer, and hiking in her spare time. She also enjoys the ocean and would love to live nearby the ocean someday.

Mrs. Martinez is a Nevada girl at heart and Fallon is her home town. She graduated from the University of Nevada with a B.A. of History and Art. She and her husband, Hector, met at UNR and they have been happily married for 9 years. They have two great children – Maverik (5) and Mercedes (3). “I love the Lord. Mrs. Dayna Mitchell, Secretary
Mrs. Mitchell was born and raised mostly in California. She met and married her husband Shawn and they have three pretty amazing boys. She has lived in Fallon for about 13 years now. “I have really learned to love living here. I say ‘learned’ because I did not love it at first, it was quite a culture shock. I love the people, the small town community, and the fact that my family is surrounded by people who love the Lord and demonstrate the love of Jesus in their lives.”
