programs, and academic development. The policies it establishes, the personnel it employs and the manner in which it functions
affect the daily life of the staff, faculty, and students. Responsibility ultimately rests upon the Board for policy directing the growth and
quality of Logos Christian Academy. Board meetings are open to the public and occur on the third Mondays of each month at 7:00pm.
Board of Directors for the 2016-2017 school year:
Ben Trotter, Chairman of the Board
Ben and his wife, Sandra, have two lovely daughters, Ashby and Kyla, who have attended Logos Christian Academy since Kindergarten. Ben has been a law enforcement officer in Churchill County since 1995 and is currently serving as the Churchill County Sheriff. Ben and Sandra feel fortunate that LCA is available as a positive alternative for their children’s education and truly value the conservative Christian perspective taught at LCA. Ben’s vision for LCA is to see it remain the classical Christian school that it has always been, teaching the basics of the learning process while, also, teaching structure, responsibility and self-discipline. Outside of work, Ben likes spending time with his family, working out, hiking, hunting and anything else outdoors. Once you get out in the Nevada countryside, it’s amazing how beautiful it is!
